Divine chocolate is made with the best quality fair trade cocoa beans from Kuapa Kokoo, a co-operative of Ghanaian small holder farmers which co-owns Divine Chocolate Ltd.
This means the farmers influence how the company is run and get a share of the profits. They are also ensured a guaranteed price for their beans and long term trading relationships which help them out of long term poverty.

Ingredients

Chocolate 65% (fairtrade cocoa mass, fairtrade sugar, fairtrade cocoa butter, emulsifier : soya lecithin (non GM), fairtrade vanilla), mint fondant 35% (fairtrade sugar, glucose syrup, invert sugar syrup, peppermint oil).
Chocolate contains cocoa solids 58% minimum. 80% ingredients certified to international standards.

If you're looking for classic after dinner mints then these are fine. I've given them four stars rather than five because I find them a little bland and would rather have a bar of mint chocolate from someone like Montezuma. However, they're perfectly okay for when you want something nicely boxed, and it's good to be able to make an ethical purchase rather than buying from one of the big confectionery companies.
