Serving Suggestion

Gently melt a stock cube with a little oil or butter and brush over chicken breasts or a whole chicken before you roast - delicious.

Cooking Instructions

Simply dissolve one kallo stock cube in 500ml of boiling water.

Ingredients

Sea salt, maize starch, yeast extract, vegetable fat, chicken 2.5%, chicken fat 2.5%, natural flavourings (contains egg), roasted onion, caramelized sugar, turmeric, celery, herbs (parsley, rosemary, thyme), garlic.

French Baked Potatoes - Thu 8th Dec 2011
Heat 1 tbsp olive oil in a pan. Add 2 sliced onions and a pinch of salt, and gently cook, stirring occasionally until softened. Stir in some chopped rosemary leaves and freshly grated nutmeg. Peel and very thinly slice 750 g potatoes. Put a layer of potatoes in the base of an ovenproof dish, then a layer of the onion mix, dot with butter and season. Keep layering up, finishing with a layer of potatoes dotted generously with butter. Pour in 300 ml chicken stock and bake at 180 degrees C/gas 4 for 1 hour until golden and bubbling.
