Made using organically grown ingredients and containing no artificial additives, kallo organic tomato and herb stock cubes provide the perfect way to enhance the natural flavours of your home prepared dishes

Usage

Dissolve one stock cube in 500ml of boiling water.

Ingredients

Sea salt, vegetable oil, tomato powder 18%, corn starch, yeast extract, herbs 1% (oregano, thyme, lovage, parsley, rosemary), beetroot, onions, burnt sugar, pepper, garlic.

Recipe

Ratatouille (serves 4)

Ingredients
4 table spoons of olive oil
1 red, yellow and green pepper, roughly chopped
2 medium onions, chopped
1 aubergine, chopped
4 courgettes, chopped
1x 400g tin of chopped tomatoes
1 kallo tomato and herb stock cube dissolved in 250mls of boiling water
Chopped parsley
Grated parmesan cheese

Method
1. Heat the 4 table spoons of olive oil in a large pan and then add the onions and peppers and soften for 5 minutes.
2. Add the aubergine, courgettes, the tin of chopped tomatoes and the dissolved stock cube in 250ml of water.
3. Stir and simmer for 20 minutes before serving with freshly chopped parsley and grated parmesan cheese.

Tomato, bread and basil soup (serves 2)

Ingredients
4 ripe tomatoes
500ml of kallo tomato and herb stock
50g of chopped white bread (crusts removed)
Basil leaves

Method
1. Cover the 4 ripe tomatoes with boiling water to release the skins.
2. Peel and roughly chop the tomatoes and add to the 500ml of kallo tomato and basil stock.
3. Add 50g of white chopped bread.
4. Stir and simmer for 20 minutes before serving with torn basil leaves.
