Thompson's dandelion coffee compound is made from the roots of dandelions - grown naturally, no pesticides! Harvested like any other crop. The danedelion roots are dried, then gently roasted in order to maximize the flavour and natural root goodness.

the original Thompson's Dandelion Coffee was first introduced during the early part of the last century. It is now available in the first half of this century in 'instant' form. A teaspoon or two, according to taste, is very much like ordinary coffee but without caffeine. It is a valuable digestive aid and dandelion root helps maintain a healthy liver. It's ideal for people with delicate digestions. It's totally caffeine free. Good before bed, and at any time of the day, when you'd like a relaxing drink.

Usage

Take two teaspoons. Add hot water. Stir. If you like add some milk; and if you've got a sweet tooth some sugar. Strong or weak, sweetened or not, you'll find what taste is best for you.

Ingredients

Lactose, concentrated extract of roasted dandelion root (8%), and caramel.

Cautions

Allergens: Lactose from milk.

I switched to this when they changed the recipe for Symington's Dandelion Coffee, making it undrinkable. This is very similar to the original Symington's, tastes great.
