Cooking Instructions
Add the contents of one sachet into a bowl with 75ml of cold water, stir well and leave to stand for 5 minutes until the mixture has thickened, stirring occasionally. using floured hands shape the mixture into 6 balls.
To shallow fry:Heat 1-2 tablespoons of oil in a frying pan. Add the falafel balls and shallow fry over a moderate heat for 4-5 minutes until golden brown. Serve.
To deep fry:Preheat oil to 180°C/250°F place falafel balls in the fryer basket, carefully lower into the oil and cook for 3 minutes. Drain well and serve.

Dried breadcrumbs 30% (wheatflour, yeast, salt), chick pea flour 21%, dried onion, rice flour, vegetable oil, ground cumin, ground coriander, garlic powder, dried parsley, salt.

Recipe
Ingredients for 2 servings of falafel pitta pockets accompanied with cous cous and houmous 1x 60g sachet of granose falafel mix
100g of plain cous cous
2pitta pockets
3cm cucumber (diced)
1 large tomato (quartered)
1 little gem lettuce (shredded)
150ml plain yoghurt
1 bunch of fresh mint
150g pot of houmous
Method1. Cook the falafel following directions.
2. Prepare the cous cous as directed on packet and leave to cool.
3. Lightly toast the pitta pockets and cut the tops off.
4. Fill the pitta pockets with cucumber, tomato and the little gem lettuce, place the falafel on top and drizzle with plain yoghurt.
5. Add a handful of chopped mint to the prepared cous cous and stir thoroughly.
6. Serve the pita pockets with the cous cous and your choice of houmous.
