Advice
Mix with milk instead of water - Mon 15th Feb 2010
Allergycare Egg-free omelette mix is better when mixed with milk instead of water. If you put the omelette mix into a container that can be shaken it will mix really well and you'll get a great consistency for egg free scrambled egg or no egg omelette.

Eggsactly like eggs - Mon 15th Feb 2010
Allergycare Egg-free Omelette Mix is great for vegetarians or for anyone who cannot tolerate eating eggs. It's basically a dry powder which you just add water to and then use to make omelettes, scrambled egg or batter mix for pancakes or frying. It can also be used in place of eggs in recipes for things like cakes, bread and desserts. It cooks and tastes exactly like egg. I use it to make yorkshire puddings and they rise perfectly everytime.

Egg Free Yorkshire Puds - Mon 15th Feb 2010
I am allergic to eggs and have not been able to make Yorkshire puddings for years, pancakes, cakes, buns, biscuits, no problem, but I could not make Yorkshire puddings. My family gave them 7/10.

So so - Wed 9th Feb 2011
It looked like an omlette and for the first couple of mouthfuls I was almost fooled. A bit rubbery and artificial after a few mouthfuls. I didn't enjoy it at all.

Followed the advice and the scrambled eggs came out all right which is a treat for me since I haven't had any for very long after being allergic to eggs! Used it in chocolate cake and the cake was so good no one suspected it was eggless!

egg-free omelette mix - Wed 11th Apr 2012
This product makes superior cakes by just substituting the omelette mix for eggs. It has a softer texture to usual cake consistencies, so you can add a little less water, and adjust the oven temperature later on in cooking. I have grandchildren who have egg allergies, but not gluten intollerences. Fantastic for pancakes, scones, all cake recipes. I just could not cope without it.
