I have used this product to make cakes along with almond meal instead of flour and it has enabled me to remain within the perameters on my low/slow carb diet. GREAT

Well this was quite the find... It's a really powdery, fine white substance, tastes very much like sugar. You can't tell the difference in baked or cold goods with this. Great for diabetics as it doesn't raise your blood sugar.

The only downside is that after doing some research I found that while it may be good for avoiding sugar highs and lows, those of us who want to lose weight might need to look elsewhere, because it is metabolized in such a way as to turn into fat more quickly..
