This is such a good price for so much brewer's yeast. This isn't the kind of yeast you'd use in a bread or beer, it's one that you cook with. It has a nutty, kind of bitter (in a good way) flavour and is full of protein and B vitamins. I like adding a couple tablespoons when I make veggie burgers (from scratch). It's also nice in casseroles and such and I even use it on popcorn.
I've read this is also great for boosting your milk supply if you are breastfeeding!

(NB Don't confuse this with nutritional yeast, which is flaky, yellow-cream coloured, and cheesy-tasting. This is a brown powder. You can't really substitute it (flavour-wise) for nutritional yeast, but it is still really tasty and it is a staple in my kitchen.)
