Rice is so popular that nearly half the world's population eat it every day. In the Chinese language the words food and rice are the same. Wedding guests the world over would traditionally throw rice at the bride & groom as a symbol of good luck.

Dove's organic rice ripens under the Italian sun until perfect for harvesting, They steam the wholegrain rice and toast it in the special cocoa recipe. It is said that cocoa or cacao was first prepared by the Omlec civilization in Central America by grinding the beans of cocoa pods growing on Theobroma cacao trees.
Everything that goes in Cocoa rice is certified organic.

Serving Suggestion

Choose any kind of milk or non dairy milk to serve with cocoa rice.
Cocoa rice makes great crispy cakes.

My family have mixed opinions on this cereal. I have to say I really like it. As with most Doves products they have a real 'cocoa' taste rather than sweet chocolate. They have a different texture to what you would expect too, more dense than fluffed up. I feel full and satisfied after a bowl, and love the little sugar hit in the morning.
