The maize and rice used to make this pasta is ripened under the Italian sun before being made into delicious pasta.
Cooking Instructions
1. Bring a large pan of water and a little salt to a rolling boil.
2. Add 100g/4oz pasta per person.
3. Simmer without a lid for 5-7 mins.
4. Stir occasionally to prevent sticking.
5. Carefully drain pasta and return to pan.
6. Stir in a little butter, olive oil or a spoonful of your sauce & serve.

Recipe
Rich Tomato Pasta Sauce
To serve with 500g of pasta:
2 onions
1 Red or Yellow pepper
3 cloves of Garlic
1 carrot
2tbsp Olive Oil
2 tins Tomatoes
4tbsp Tomato puree
1 glass red wine
1 tbsp Brown Sugar
1tbsp Oregano
100g/4oz Parmesan Cheese
To taste Salt & Pepper
Method
1. Finely chop the onions, pepper, garlic, and carrot.
2. Put the olive oil in an oven proof dish.
3. Add the chopped vegetables and cook gently, stirring occasionally.
4. When the vegetables soften stir in the tinned tomatoes, tomato puree, red wine, brown sugar, oregano, salt and pepper.
5. Put the lid on the casserole dish and place in the oven.
6. Cook at 160° C/fan 140°C/250°F/Gas 1.
7. Season the cooked sauce with salt & pepper.
8. Grate the Parmesan.
9. Serve cooked drained pasta with the sauce and grated Parmesan.
