Liver Detox - Thu 25th Oct 2007
I have no idea whether this tea actually does anything for my liver - but it came free with a magazine so I thought I'd give it a go. It was the vilest tasting thing I have EVER had! I couldn't bear to take a second sip.

Dr. Stuart - Tue 22nd Jan 2008
I personally love this stuff! I was looking for a high-quality dandelion root tea to assist with the liver detox diet that I'd recently begun, and chose this brand over several others that my local health/fitness store had on their shelves. I am very pleased with my purchase, and look forward to trying the Tranquility, Slim Plus and Skin Purify varieties in the very near future.

Scummy!!! - Thu 13th Mar 2008
I came across this tea when I was searching for something to replace my daily coffee fixes. I'm not sure if it actually works but I seem to be addicted to the taste, its lovely and refreshing and I cant get enough so give it a go!!

Awful Tasting - Wed 10th Sep 2008
You cannot physically drink this tea straight. I tried and gagged and tried again. Eventually I added some creamer and sweetener, which still was awful but I was able to tolerate it. I was hoping to be able to drink this to help with my medical liver issues, but I think I'll stick with green tea and water.

Liver detox - Tue 3rd Feb 2009
My first reaction was: my God that tastes foul!
Very, very bitter, but I know that most liver herbs are bitter, so I guess it's unavoidable.
List of ingredients looks promising in medicinal terms though.

Revolting - Thu 7th May 2009
I can say without exaggeration that this is the most revolting tea I have ever tasted. Its detoxifying qualities, I suspect, result simply from the toxins trying to get as far away from this noxious liquid as quickly as possible.

Aquired Taste - Thu 19th Aug 2010
I found it intriguing to read the negative comments about the flavour of this tea, as on drinking it myself I found it completely palatable. But then I personally enjoy bitter herbs. Perhaps there are some people who are unused to the flavour of bitter herbs and who prefer sweet or mild flavoured blends instead? But if you are a person who enjoys or who likes to develop a taste for distinctive flavours, such as for example blue cheese, black coffee or real ale and so-on, then I imagine you will have no difficulty in enjoying or developing a taste for medicinal style herbal infusions such as this blend.

I really love this tea, the Liquorice adds a pleasant sweetness to it. I brew it for at least 5 mins which I think helps all the flavours come out. I actually prefer this to drinking ordinary peppermint tea which I sometimes struggle drinking.

Liver Detox? - Sat 19th Nov 2011
I am still unsure as to how beneficial this is on a normal day, but I find it helps to alleviate hangover symptoms, and get rid of them quicker. Taste wise, it's not the nicest tea I've had, but not the worst either. Definitely bearable. Recommended if you're the kind to feel fragile after a night out.
