Product Details

Corn doesn't contain gluten, but often there can be contamination in the production of cereal flakes. This is not the case with Dietary Specials Cornflakes. They are guaranteed suitable for coeliacs and those wanting to avoid gluten.

Ingredients

Maize Sugar Salt Emulsifier: (Sunflower Lecithin) Vitamins: (Niacin, Pantothenic Acid, Vitamin B6, Riboflavin, Thiamin, Folic Acid, Biotin, Vitamin B12)

Recipe

Cornflake Crispy Cakes

Gluten and wheat free cornflake crispy cakes to make with any willing helpers.

Preparation time: 10 minutes Cooling time: 30 minutes Makes 12

Ingredients
85g (3 oz) Dietary Specials Cornflakes
50g (2 oz) margarine or butter
85g (3 oz) luxury dark Belgian cooking chocolate
2 x 15 mlsp (2tblsp) golden syrup
1 bun tray for 12 buns, each with a paper case

Method
1. Place the cornflakes in a large bowl
2. In a small pan melt the margarine, chocolate and golden syrup together until well blended and the chocolate has melted.
3. Add the chocolate mixture to the cornflake, mix well to coat with chocolate.
4. Using a dessert spoon fill the paper cases in the bun tray with the mixture. Allow to set and cool.
5. Serve as required
