Other Information

Taifun uses a combination of nigari (magnesium chloride extracted from sea water) and calcium sulphate to coagulate it. This coagulation method produces a firmer texture and is also means that the tofu is a good source of calcium.

Bought the chorizo chunks - taste excellent fried. The best buy for me was the mini Taifun frankfurters. I have tried for years to get that lovely savoury taste - supermarkets do franks but Taifun get the taste just right - I'm a lifelong veggie but i do like taste!! Can be heated in water or fried, both a good way of preparing them.
