Ingredients

Tofu 80% (water, soyabeans), cold pressed sunflower oil, oatmeal, vegetable broth, spices, sea salt, herbs.

per 100g:
Energy 938kJ/225kcal, Protein 13.4g, Carbohydrate 6.5g, Fat 16.2g.

Other Information

Taifun uses a combination of nigari (magnesium chloride extracted from sea water) and calcium sulphate to coagulate it. This coagulation method produces a firmer texture and is also means that the tofu is a good source of calcium.

These sausages make a good vegan meat alternative and can be cooked quickly under the grill. They're not as flavourful as some vegetarian sausages I've tried but they do have the benefits of high protein content, pleasant texture and absolutely no animal products!
