Not very tasty - Fri 6th Apr 2012
This offering from Forest Foods sounded a lot more promising than it was. While I tend to prefer the wholemeal options, the pastry of this product had an 'uncooked' flavour. There was a generous amount of filling but, sadly, this was also rather bland - not the strong taste required to carry a wholemeal option, not even a hint of the salt that one might expect from a seaweed ingredient. There was a lot less grease than some of the other 'less healthy' looking products from Forest Foods, but it simply wasn't worth it, in my opinion. I certainly would never offer this one to a child as I suspect it is one product that is purely for those seeking health over taste.
