Cooking Instructions

This product is ready to eat. To serve hotheat in a microwave on high for 1-2 minutes. For best results heat in an oven on gas mark 7 (220°C) for 15 minutes. Check product is piping hot before serving.

Ingredients

Pastry: 30% wheat flour, water, vegetable oil, salt, emulsifiers (E471, E472e, E475), soya flour, citric acid, flour treatment agent (E300), flavourings, colours (E160b, E100), Filling: stuffing 32% (wheatflour, yeast, salt, onion, vegetable oil, sage, spices), mushrooms 25%, peppers 6%, lemon juice, salt, herbs and spices.

This is what you'd probably hope for in a 'sausage' roll. It is large enough to tuck into and has a satisfying taste and texture. The flavour is true to the description and, in my opinion, expectation. I found it a bit greasy when heated in the microwave, but that's probably true with most similar products. For a slightly naughty, but very satisfying and easy snack, this is great.
