Cook on gas 6 for 30-40 minutes. serves 2 as as part of a roast dinner.

Ingredients

Roast: mixed nuts(50%)- peanuts, almonds, brazil nuts, cashew nuts, walnuts, pinenuts, onions, peppers, wheatflour, vegetable oil, soya flour, lemon juice, fresh parsley, vegetable stock, garlic, yeast, herbs and spices.

Cautions

Contains nuts, wheat, soya and celery.

We rarely have nut roasts but I decided to try a couple and was pleasantly surprised. I hadn't previously been optimistic about trying them but now I know that the nutty taste is subtle and the texture is nice and rich. The garlic and herb stuffing were complimentary but overall I felt this one needed sauce/gravy though it was a lovely addition to roasted vegetables.
