Danival's specially selected Atlantic sea salt is light grey in colour and harvested manually from clay pans using traditional methods handed down over many generations. As these methods involve no washing, refining or additives of any kind, this salt contains all its natural minerals and trace elements, and has a naturally low lead content. The salt is harvested from June to September, after drying out in the wind and sun through the long summer months.

Advice
Sore throat remedy - Tue 3rd May 2011
This will work for a common sore throat, cold and tonsillitis, however severe: dissolve a large pinch of salt in a glass of warm water and gargle every hour if the sypmtoms are severe, three times a day if they are not, until pain has gone.
The salt will disinfect your throat as well as soothe it. This remedy is very easy and incredibly efficient -no need for antibiotics or painkillers.

Good quality sea salt - Mon 4th Oct 2010
My favourite sea salt, it has a very rich flavour, like a taste of the ocean, from which it carries all the purity and goodness.

I love this salt, you can tell it's natural and mineral rich just buy looking at it since it's grey tinted and slightly damp. Taste-wise it's really good, far better than the usual caustic salt you get, and remember that other supposed 'sea-salts' only have to have a small percentage of sea-salt in them to be labelled as such and are still refined and processed. This Danival salt is different and highly recommended, plus the coarse granules mean that the minimal processing is even less. Very good value for money too, at an affordable price.

We are a big fan of this salt! The flavour is amazing and you can use less than with other salts too!

For rich tasting stewed fruit, add just a pinch of salt at the start of cooking, and no water. Cook on a very low heat for at least an hour, the fuit will be very tasty, creamy and incredibly sweeter.
