Cooking Instructions
For best results do not pre-cook Redwoods vegetarian mince. Just add to your favourite recipes. This product does not shrink during the cooking process.
Ingredients
Water, gluten, vegetable oil and fats, soya protein, textured vegetable protein, ground flax, inulin*, wheat fibre, flavouring, salt, malt extract, sugar, thickener - carrageenan, onion powder, zinc sulphate, vitamin B6, vitamin B12.
*Contains inulin, a pre-biotic to stimulate the growth of healthy intestinal bacteria.

Recipe
Redwood Cheatin' Mince Tacos.
300g Redwood Cheatin' Mince
12 Taco shells
Salsa
Mexican spice mix
2 Tomatoes - chopped
125g grated cheese - try Redwood Nach style Cheezly
Lettuce - shredded
Olive oil
50ml Water
Method
1. Heat the oil in the pan.
2. Add the Redwood Cheatin' Mince, mexican spice, and water and stir throughly.
3. Bring to the biol and simmer for 3 minutes until the liquid is reduced.
4. Warm the taco shells following the instructions on the packet.
5. Fill the shells with the lettuce, spiced Redwood Cheatin' Mince mixture, and tomatoes then topped with salsa and grated cheese.

By far the best beef mince alternative I've tried. Great for pasta sauces, shepherd's pie, etc. It freezes well too.
