I was surprised how much I enjoyed this - good flavour and texture, a lot like the meat version for those who are looking for something similar. I did notice it didn't keep its flavour for very long so probably needs eating quite quickly, which can be hard if you're the only one using it. A smaller size pack would be helpful.

I bought this for a friend and they absolutely loved it. Said it was the tastiest pate they had ever eaten! They did not limit it as a spread but used it in cooking too.

I bought this pate as a starter for Xmas Day as this is the first christmas with a veggie starter. I absolutely loved the taste of this Pate. It was rich and creamy and had a really lovely texture and did not taste artificial in any way. I much prefer this Pate to meat ones anyday!!

This is an excellent product, very tasty and a good substitute. Perfect on crackers topped with a slice of tomato or on toast and makes great sandwiches

I agree with the previous reviewers. This is a very smooth pate with a pleasant taste and texture. It has a much more subtle flavour than others and is not salty, as similar products can tend to be. The lightness would certainly make for a good starter or canape and, since it has to be used within 48 hours of opening, I have not experienced any problems with a loss of taste myself. Similarly, the mild flavour means that a sandwich or two with this as a filling is a quick method of using up the whole pack, even for a single person - unless I'm the only one who likes my sandwich fillings to be of a 'thicker' proportion. I would certainly recommend giving this product a try.
