Cream 150 g sunflower spread and 150 g caster sugar together until light and fluffy. Gradually whisk in 3 medium beaten eggs and 1 tsp vanilla extract. Fold in 150 g self-raising flour, sifted. Sit 12 deep paper cases in a muffin tin and divide the mixture between them. Bake at 180 degrees C/Gas 4 for 20 minutes until risen and golden. Cool, then cut out a cone shape from the centre of each cake and cut the cones in half to form wings. Whip 150 ml cream and place a spoonful on top of each cake, followed by the wings, then some fresh strawberry pieces. Dust with icing sugar and serve.br />br />

I love butter, but am trying to be healthier and get away from dairy - for myself and the cows benefit! This reminds me a little of Flora margarine, and with a nice dollop of jam on top, you won't be able to tell it's not butter.

I've come across very few vegan friendly butter-like spreads that make realistic non-dairy alternatives but this is one of them. It's so delicious and spreads very nicely, it also melts well and leaves you wanting more especially if you season it a little with garlic or your favourite cooking herbs.

In my opinion by far the tastiest of all Pure spreads and the best tasting of all non-dairy spreads available. Tastes great even on its own on fresh bread or toast.

Mixing a spoonful of sunflower spread into your morning cereal like cornflakes etc before pouring on milk is a good way of adding healthy oil into your diet and very tasty too.
