Other Information
Clearspring Organic Brown Rice Udon combines the goodness of brown rice and wheat. Enjoy this smooth-textured, wholesome pasta in any recipe calling for udon or lomein. In the mountain-fringed Yenqing lake district of remote north east China, award winning miller and oriental pasta maker, Takao Ogura found the perfect location to set up his grain mill and traditional noodle shop. He starts with pure spring water from a protected watershed and selects local grains, organically grown from traditional seed varieties. Ogura freshly mills the grains for each batch and uses the traditional oriental roll-and-cut method and natural air-drying to make a variety of oriental pastas of incomparable taste and quality.

Very versatile - Sat 22nd Jan 2011
I'm really fussy about rice-based noodles as so often their texture is 'slimy' and they do not cope well with being in soup type recipes. These ones, however, keep their shape and texture really well and are also good in stir fry. Even my Chinese mother-in-law likes them and she's a noodle connoisseur!

Very nice rice noodles, with a distinctive texture which is improved by the wheat. The taste is perfect. Can replace spaghetti, they are like high quality ones.

Really, really awful - Sat 11th Jun 2011
When I put these in boiling water they completely fell apart. It became "noodle bits" instead of long, delicious noodles, and it was quite disgusting - to the point where I was unable to eat it. Waste of money, really.

Nice taste but don't keep their taste or texture very well. I prefer the soba noodles overall, but these are good if you're on a gluten free diet.
