Shoyu Dressing - Wed 17th Aug 2011
Make a simple Oriental condiment by whisking 3 tbsp shoya soya sauce with 1 tbsp toasted sesame oil and 1 tbsp rice vinegar. Good as a dressing for salads and vegetables.

I have been reading Alicia Silverstone's The Kind Diet, and this is used in a number of recipes. 'Shoyu' is much superior to the standard soy sauce you buy in the supermarket. If you look at the ingredients on standard soy sauce, there will be lots of additives and unnecessary baddies. Shoyu is also naturally fermented and easier to digest. I like using products that are as natural as possible, and wish I had looked at labels more often in the past.
