I knew of the benefits of Wakame, but struggled to know how I would add it into food. Easy - cut a strip into small pieces straight into home made soup. Only needs about 10 mins, doesn't really have much taste but all the goodness.

I LOVE wakame, I think it means little girl in Japanese, anyway it's delicious in salads or just munching on it's own after soaking. I can't say enough about this seaweed, it's perhaps my favourite. The spine is a bit hard but I eat the whole thing, it's delicious. Also wakame is very rich in calcium, so great for the bones and general detox.

This seaweed has a nice mild flavour and is great in a miso soup. Ideal for people new to sea vegetables.

Easily rehydrated in water this can be added to salads but is delicious in soups and stir fries. An easy way to get Iodine in your diet, particularly if you are a vegan.
