Clearspring Organic All Buckwheat Soba is a hearty tasting Japanese noodle that will appeal to people looking for the rich, nutty flavour of buckwheat, as well as those who require a wheat free noodle.

Most soba noodles are smooth textured containing 40% buckwheat flour to 60% wheat flour, but Clearspring's All Buckwheat Soba is a special version that has a grainier texture and a stronger buckwheat flavour.

Cooking Instructions

To prepare these rich Japanese noodles, bring 8 cups of water to the boil, add noodles and stir. Boil gently for 7-9 minutes then rinse immediately under cold water. For recipes visit: www.clearspring.co.uk

These noodles are well worth it! They go with anything, have a lovely firm but supple texture, and a rare thing, are made with just buckwheat. The taste is there, so is the goodness.

We tried these at a friends house recently and was amazed at how they tasted.
We eat them at least once a week now and they go with anything. It does say wash them in cold water after cooking but we tend to do it with boiling hot water.

My favourite noodles - good flavour and texture. More substantial then other noodles I've tried due to their thickness.

Really delicious and so healthy too. These noodles are just made from buckwheat so are naturally gluten free, excellent with steamed broccoli and soy.
