Genmaicha, with a delightfully nutty flavour and aroma, is a premium grade green tea with added roasted rice.
Using the traditional Japanese process, the tea leaves are briefly steamed immediately after picking and then carefully rolled and dried to capture their bright colour & fresh flavour.

Tea leaves 50%, roasted rice 50%.

The flavour in this tea is wonderful. It's green tea with a kind of nuttiness which comes from the rice. The green tea is not overpowering or bitter like some brands, it's refreshing, light, flavoursome and good for you! What more could you ask for? I take my tea bags everwhere with me and people are fascinate by the combination... I'm turning more people on to this lovely taste.
