A Szechuan inspired stir fry with tomato, Szechuan pepper and spicy chilli flakes.

Product Details

A new range of intense stir fry shots, developed for those who want an increased taste experience from their stir fry meal either through more heat, new flavours, crunchy texture or wonderful aroma!

Ingredients

Water, sugar, tomato 8%, red onion, spring onion 3.5%, modified maize starch, Chinese rice vinegar, spirit vinegar, sesame oil, light soy sauce (water, salt, soya beans, roasted wheat, sugar), minced chilli paste (chilli peppers, water, salt, acetic acid), szechuan pepper, garlic purée, coriander, chilli flakes, salt, colour: paprika extract.

Energy 442kJ/105kcal, Protein 0.6g, Carbohydrate 20.3g, of which sugars 18.8g, Fat 2.2g, of which saturates 0.3g, Fibre 0.5g, Sodium 0.27g, Salt equivalent 0.70g.

Recipe

Szechuan pepper and chilli prawns serves 2

250g raw king prawns, 1 tablespoon vegetable oil, 50g mangetout, 1 red pepper thinly sliced.

1. Heat the oil in a wok and add the prawns, stir fry for 1 minute or until they turn pink.
2. Add the mangetout and red pepper and stir fry for a further minute.
3. Pour over the sachet of sauce and simmer for 1 minute, stirring occasionally. Ensure piping hot and serve immediately.
