A smoky and sticky sauce for roasting with a rich blend of molasses, caramel, garlic, ginger and Chinese spices.

Ingredients

Water, glucose-fructose syrup, tomato purée 10%, sugar, spirit vinegar, molasses 5%, vegetable oil, ginger purée 3%, garlic purée 3%, modified maize starch, light soy sauce 2% (water, salt, soya beans, roasted wheat, sugar), onion powder, Chinese five spice, colour: plain caramel; smoke flavour, white pepper, salt.

Recipe

Sticky Chinese BBQ Ribs serves 3-4

800-1kg Pork ribs, 1 jar BBQ sticky sauce.

1. Place the ribs in a large pan of water, bring to the boil and simmer for 40 minutes.
2. Drain the ribs and place in a resealable freezer bag, pour over jar of sauce and leave to marinade for at least 1 hour.
3. Place the ribs and sauce on a baking tray and cook at 200°C for approx 20 minutes or until dark and sticky.
Ensure piping hot and serve immediately.
