Blue Dragon Rice Flour Pancakes for Springrolls 50g

Product Details

Rice flour wraps for spring rolls, or similar. Ideal stuffed for a main meal, lunch or snack and an ideal alternative to bread.

Cooking Instructions

How to prepare: Wet 2 tea-towels with fresh tapwater and wring them thoroughly. Place individual pancakes flat on one towel and cover them with the second towel. After only about 1 minute they are soft and pliable.

Rice flour.

Recipe

Springrolls for 4 persons:
8 rice flour pancakes
150g bean sprouts
1 carrot, finely sliced
8 large, cooked and peeled prawns cut in half lengthwise
8 lettuce leaves, cut into small strips
1 sprig of fresh mint
1 sprig of fresh coriander
1. Cut lettuce leaves into small strips
2. Prepare rice flour pancakes as described.
3. Place 2 halves of prawn in the middle of each pancake, top with bean sprouts, carrots and lettuce strips, and garnish with mint and coriander. Fold part of the pancake over the filling and seal the sides. Keep in a cool place until served. Can be served cold or deepfried in hot oil. Arrange on a serving dish, garnish with the remaining lettuce, mint and coriander.
