Serving Suggestion
Use as a base for tagines and casseroles straight from the jar or simply heat and pour over cooked rice or couscous.
Cooking Instructions
2 Servings:
Cooking Sauce - Cut 2 chicken breasts into 1" cubes. Add to lightly oiled pan, cook over medium heat until sealed. Add sauce, cook for 1-2 mins. Reduce heat, cover & simmer for 15-20 mins stirring occasionally. Serve on a bed of rice or couscous. Pour over Sauce - Pour sauce into pan and cook over medium heat for 4-5 mins stirring continuously. Pour over rice, couscous, jacket potatoes or as desired.

Water, onion, dates, honey (9%), olive oil, vegetable bouillon, garlic puree, ground spices (cumin, coriander, ginger, turmeric, cinnamon, nutmeg, chillies), almonds (2%), coriander leaf, lemon juice concentrate, salt, modified maize starch.

Recipe
Honey & Almond 7 Vegetable Tagine
Preparation: 15 minutes
Cooking: 20 minutes
Serves: 4

1 x Al’Fez Honey & Almond Tagine Sauce
1 x large onion
2 x garlic cloves
2 x fresh red chillies
1 x carrot
1 x green pepper
1 x red pepper
¼ x cauliflower
6 x mushrooms
2 x tablespoons butter
Salt & freshly ground pepper for seasoning
Fresh coriander for garnish
Slice carrots and cauliflower, boil until soft and drain.Melt butter in a pan, add sliced onions, chillies, garlic, peppers and mushrooms, fry until brown. Add boiled carrots and cauliflower to pan and pour over Al’Fez Honey and Almond Tagine sauce, season with salt and pepper, cover and simmer for 20 minutes.
Serving Suggestion: Serve with Al’Fez Couscous, warm bread and garnish with fresh coriander. Another great idea add prawns for a seafood alternative.
