Perfect, tasty and versatile. I liked making a cold soup with it, with a base of celery spinach and carrot juice basil and parsley garlic juice and use these juices as a base for a smoothie by adding a tin of tomatoes and a pinch of salt it was very refreshing and lip-smacking

There are slightly cheaper ones available in some supermarkets but I don't think the flavour can be matched.

A very rich source of lycopene (a carotenoid). Helps protect against some cancers and also heart disease. Rich in vitamin C, E and beta-carotene. Low in calories. Canned are often more nutrient rich than raw. Excellent base for soups, sauces, curries, casseroles etc. Far more tasty than 'fresh' supermarket tomatoes and a lot less fiddly if you are cooking with them.

I love biona's organic tomatoes, they taste much better than the ones I have access to at the supermarket and they're already chopped for me. My only qualm is the questionable plastic in the tins, I do wish they would get rid of it!!

Sweet tomatoes. - Sun 5th May 2013
Lovely sweet tomatoes, not at all acidic like some canned tomatoes. If you cook them down for a good 25 minutes they make the most rich, tomato passata. And no more expensive than most of your non organic canned tomatoes.

These are so cheap, considering that they're organic, and they taste so good! Like the Biona passata, they are a must to have ready in your cupboard for last-minute meals and snacks.
