Cooking Instructions

Microwave - serves 1
Mix 1/2 cup (50g) of Big Oz Porridge Flakes with approx 1-1 1/4 cups (250- 300ml) of milk or water. Add a pinch of salt or sweetener if desired. Do not cover.Microwave on full power for 1 minute. Stir and repeat. Cooking times may vary according to microwave wattage.
Saucepan - serves 1
Pour 1/2 cup of Big Oz Porridge Flakes into a saucepan. Stir in approx 1- 1 1/4 cups (250-300) of milk or water. Add a pinch of salt or sweetener if desired. Bring to boil, reduce heat and simmer for 3-4 minutes, stirring occasionally.

Creamy and filling - Sun 31st Mar 2013
As someone who can't tolerate sugar/oats but is still after a filling cereal, Big Oz's Porridge hits all the right notes: it's tasty, creamy and filling. If you can tolerate fruit purees, why not add some Clearspring Organic Fruit Purees to sweeten it but I'm sure some people will find it perfect as it is. Tip: Cooking it for at least an additional 30 seconds (Microwave), makes it even softer and more porridg-y.
