Absolutely delicious, great in fajitas, but why is it always unavailable?!

If you have ever had Quorn then this is similar in texture although its more dense. Lovely flavour and cooks quickly. Used it last night in a Thai and it was really good!

This product is without doubt the best chicken style alternative on the meatfree market. It's texture is very similar to chicken but the real advantage to this product is it's protein to fat ratio. In comparison to a typical portion of chicken this product has about 5 grams more protein (per 100g) than chicken and also about 2 to 3 grams less fat (again per 100g) than chicken. Don't let anyone tell you that vegetarians are at a disadvantage when it comes to sports/fitness. This product is the answer!

A must have! - Wed 17th Mar 2010
These chicken style pieces have such a lovely flavour and texture, and are so versatile; I love them in fajitas, curry or stirfry, or mixed with mayo/curry powder in a wrap with salad. I always have a couple of bags of this in my freezer.

I gave up meat about 2 months ago and am managing very well which is good. Thought I would try these out. While you do get a mild taste/smell off them that is clearly not chicken, they are actually better than I expected. They go well with mayonnaise (you can get vegan mayo), or mixed into a nice sauce I don't think you would know the difference.

I use these to make a veggie 'Chicken' and asparagus pie, in a white sauce. They are really nice, a great texture and cook up nicely. Also great in stir fry

These are a great alternative to tofu chunks, a different texture to use in pies, pasta, curries, I was really surprised by how versatile and tasty these were actually!
Like tofu, they absorb flavours, in fact one of my favourite ways of using them was to put them with vegan pesto in a pasty, it complemented them perfectly. Having seen the thing about thai green curry I might give that a go, or in a fajita perhaps.
I've given them four stars rather than five as I wasn't keen on the very mild flavour of the chunks themselves that much, perhaps it's a chicken flavour? But once cooked in something they're delicious.
