Lemon heaven - Sat 19th May 2012
This is a slightly more sophisticated cheesecake than the Mamma Cucina versions. The texture is a little firmer (the very top has a slight 'film') and the lemon offers is a pleasant, natural taste to both the base and topping. It still doesn't quite fit the expectations of 'cheesecake' - the base is more cake and the topping is still lighter. However, as long as you accept this, it makes a lovely dessert with a flavour that should suit adults as easily as children.
