Linseed (flax seed) is a rich source of fibre an omega 3 fatty acids. Biona organic cracked linseed can be easily added to breakfast cereals or bread and savoury baking.

Serving Suggestion

Sprinkle on salads or add to soups and casseroles.

Usage

It is recommended to take two to three tablespoons per day.

Cautions

When taking linseed it is important to drink sufficient liquid (150-200ml per tablespoon of linseed).

Linseed supplies valuable essential fatty acids, protein and dietary fibre. Biona Organic Linseed Gold is carefully cracked to aid absorption and release the soothing mucins. Unsaturated fatty acids are unstable when exposed to oxygen and light. For this reason, these seeds are packed in a protective atmosphere in a foil bag.
