using Linseed oil to cook with is a bit of a waste as the beneficial properties are destroyed by heating.

Other Information

Linseed is one of the world's oldest cultivated plants. Its Latin name means "the much needed." Linseed oil has been known for centuries as an excellent source of vital polyunsaturated fatty acids, so important for the human organism. The oil contains the triple unsaturated Linolenic fatty acids in a uniquely high concentration.
Through the special Oxyguard pressing and bottling method, the nutritional wealth, natural flavour and golden yellow colour remains, as far as possible, intact. An amber glass bottle is used to protect this precious oil. Keep refrigerated after opening to prevent oxidation.

Bought three bottles of this oil recently and the lids drove me mad - all three were really difficult to get off to the point I had to use pliers and that still didn't work with one of them and I ended up cutting my hand on the sharp edges getting it off created!

This is a high-quality flax oil, which is very good for the body as it contains omega 3, 6 and 9 fatty acids (all good for you!) It comes in a dark bottle, to help preserve the oil properly, and overall, is just a well-made product.

I put a tiny bit on top of my dogs' food each day and it gives them a nice, shiny, healthy coat!
