Reheating instructions: For best results defrost first and place in a preheated oven 180°C/Gas Mark 4 for 10 minutes.Ingredients

G-Free Devon Steak Pie 215g - Fri 20th Jan 2012These steak pies are as good by any standards. The meat is lovely, nice big chunks, beautiful tasty gravy and pastry that is delicious hot or cold. Amazing! I buy these regularly and I would def recommend!

Review of Steak Pie - Thu 16th Feb 2012The pastry was great, definitely felt no loss between this and ordinary pastry. However, was disappointed with the filling. The meat was nice, chunky and tender but its surrounding gravy / juices were lacking in my opinion. It was grey, didn't have much of a meaty brown gravy to it, and I felt with a little more product testing in "Baked to Taste" department they would have an absolute 5 star steak pie here. I know a good rich, meaty, deep brown coloured filling can be achieved WITHOUT the use of anything artificial so I'm hoping they will personally look at this review with a positive attitude.
I however will be re-ordering their Chicken Balti Pie. That had a very tasteful filling I have to admit :)
