Rapeseed is a great general oil to choose. It is a good source of both polyunsaturated and monounsaturated fat, rapeseed has the lowest saturated fat of any popular oils and is relitively high (up to 10x more than olive oil) in omega 3.It is recommended not to heat it and use it raw instead, the reason being cooking with oils rich in unsaturated fatty acids like the rapeseed can lead to the formation of trans fats.
