Other Information

This is an unrefined sugar, which means it is a natural product, which has been very simply produced with the aim of locking in - rather than refining out - the natural molasses of the sugar cane. It is this difference that gives unrefined sugar its superior flavour and natural colour.

Delicious treacly taste. Nice texture. I use it in baking and it definitely helps the dough rise. Better value than more famous brands too.

This is the only sugar I buy for cakes - once you've tried it everything else tastes bland by comparison. The extra flavour also means that you can use a bit less than stated in most recipes.
