Serving Suggestion

Ideal for meat free burgers, lunches and hors d'ouevres.

Cooking Instructions

Empty packet contents into a bowl and add 240ml water, mix well and let stand for 15 minutes. Form into small balls or patties. Pour at least 2cm of vegetable oil into a deep fryer or pan, heat oil and fry falafel balls until golden brown and crisp. Drain on absorbent paper towel and serve hot with crisp lettuce, cucumber, tomato and tahini sauce.

Yellow peas, chick peas, soya bran, onion, parsley, garlic, salt, traditional herbs and spices, bicarbonate of soda.

Totally delicious. Better than all of the other varieties I've tried and not stuffed to the brim with wheat. Brilliant!

It's really easy and quick to make your own very tasty wheat-free falafel with this mix. While the mix is sitting for a few minutes, I stick the pitta breads under a low grill and mix the tomatoes, olives, pine nuts and olive oil. While the falafel is cooking, I whip-up some houmous. Voila, a healthy, delicious Mediterranean meal in minutes. (Or you can buy houmous and salads on here and save even more time!)
