Gluten free pasta spirals with amaranth.

Product Details

Amaranth is a nutritional wonder that has one of the highest levels of protein of any grain and was a staple food of the ancient Incas and Aztecs. It is known to have the best source of high biological complete protein in the plant kingdom that is exceptionally suited to human nutritional needs.

Cooking Instructions

Step 1. Place contents into plenty of boiling water (approx 4 litres/135fl.oz for every 250g/8.8oz of orgran pasta. Salt may be added to the water.
Step 2. Stir gently and continue to boil for 7-9 minutes or until preferred consistency.
Step 3. Strain and rinse under warm running water.

Rice, maize meal, amaranth 10%, millet, water.

This is a lovely and I'd say more tasty alternative to corn or rice pastas available for those gluten free diets. Amaranth is high in protein and vitamins and minerals, so a more filling and nutritious alternative. I have already switched to using this and the quinoa one as it tastes much nicer and also cooks without going mushy.
