Welsh Cream Tart - Tue 2nd Aug 2011
Make up 175 g shortcrust pastry and line a fairly deep tart dish. Mix 4 egg whites with 450 ml cream, 1 tbsp sugar and some vanilla essence. Pour into the pastry case and bake at 170 degrees C/gas mark 3 for around 35-40 minutes. Serve cold.
