Take a wok, add some sesame oil, exotic vegetables and a handful of Fry's Chunky Strips - toss in some wild rice (pre- cooked of course), mix through and serve for a sizzling stir- fry. I tried these recently and they are really nice in a stir-fry. They have a nice texture and are tasty in their own right. I have tried them in a stew yet so couldn't comment on that aspect.

The strips taste really nice and have a good likeness to meat texture but sometimes they can be a little gritty.

I have tried more or less, all Fry's products and whilst I agree they are a good "take" on meat, absolutely all of their products taste the same.

I stir fried these straight from the pack and served them with stir fried vegetables and noodles. The whole Family loved them and keep asking for more.

These have quite a rich taste which became a little sickly for me after a while.

I made a 'Beef' and Cheshtnut Lattice for Christmas Day and it was really lovely. These are spookily realistic (in a good way) with a great flavour and texture

As with so many Fry's products they are excellent meat substitutes. Even my partner who prefers his veggie food veggie rather than meat substitute usually still really enjoyed the dark brown flavour (he's yeast and fungus free so doesn't get it very often) of the not-beef strips. Very tasty, stir fry well, haven't tried casseroling yet but I'm sure they'll be great.

This is wonderfully tasty and very versatile. I use it in stir fries and stews as well as on its own with a splash of soya sauce.

It cooks quickly and easily, with more of its own taste than the quorn products. If you have not tried it yet I would highly recommend it
