Serving Suggestion

Add to breakfast cereals or yoghurt. Use in biscuit and bread recipes to enhance flavour, nutrional value and to aid digestion.

Here's a mouth-watering recipes for Cherry Granola Bars

Ingredients:
200g Rolled Oats
25g Wheatgerm
25g Ground Linseed
2 tsp Ground Cinnamon
200g Stoneground Flour
75g Sultanas
200g Frozen Cherries (chopped)
300g Mixed Chopped Nuts
Pinch Salt
5 tblsp Maple Syrup
8 tblsp Olive Oil
2 tsp Vanilla Essence
2 Eggs

Method:
1. Mix all ingredients together.
2. Press into a greased tray.
3. Bake at 180 degrees for 20 minutes.
4. Cool for 10 minutes and cut into bars.
5. If you're feeling naughty drizzle with dark chocolate.
6. Allow to cool completely and store in an airtight container.

Linseed is a great way to boost your Omega-3 intake, much needed in our diets in the western world. Plus they're tasty! I recommend them sprinkled onto salads; or into stir-fries. I also eat a handful on their own now and then, very good source of fibre.
