Recommended Dosage
Take upto 6 grams of crushed seeds a day. Lindseeds break up easily in the gut and help to reduce irritation of the bowel.
Serving Suggestion
Linseeds have a mild nutty flavour. Sprinkle onto breakfast cereal or mix with yoghurt. Use in bread making. Add to salads.

Ingredients:
200g Rolled Oats
25g Wheatgerm
25g Ground Linseed
2 tsp Ground Cinnamon
200g Stoneground Flour
75g Sultanas
200g Frozen Cherries (chopped)
300g Mixed Chopped Nuts
Pinch Salt
5 tblsp Maple Syrup
8 tblsp Olive Oil
2 tsp Vanilla Essence
2 Eggs
Method:
1. Mix all ingredients together.
2. Press into a greased tray.
3. Bake at 180 degrees for 20 minutes.
4. Cool for 10 minutes and cut into bars.
5. If you're feeling naughty drizzle with dark chocolate.
6. Allow to cool completely and store in an airtight container.

Good to add to porridge - Sat 14th Jan 2012
Very cheap. Put these in a blender to grind them then add to porridge and smoothies. I do enough for a few weeks at a time and they keep fine in the fridge
