To home roast Macadamia nuts, place the kernels in a shallow pan no more than two deep. Roast 40-50 minutes, stirring occasionally. Remove from the oven as soon as they start to turn tan. After roasting, the nuts store well salted or unsalted, in airtight containers at 40-65 degrees F. They can also be frozen. Macadamia nuts are excellent raw or roasted. As well as being a quality snack, they can be used in almost any recipe that calls for nuts, including stuffing, fruit salad, cakes etc.

I've tried macadamia nuts before, but they didn't make me go wow at the time. These nuts however are lovely, very big and they seem very fresh. I'm addicted!
I eat them raw or make my own nut butter. Keep them in the fridge and they'll stay fresh.
