Makes a lovely, tasty, healthy snack. Also great veggie source of protein in stir-fries, noodle soups, stews, etc. Works very well ground to make your own fresh almond milk. Also lovely in home-made fruit cakes.

Used to make my own almond milk which tasted delish... Need a powerful blender, 1 cup of almonds, 3 cups of water; blend away for awhile, strain the resulting liquid-off. Stores for 5 days in the fridge. Can use the left-over 'almond-meal' in cakes and cookies.
